CCB held a training session for producers of our local “live” television program. These producers were not formally educated in broadcast television and so this training was designed to give them skills to seek higher levels of employment in the broadcasting field. The training consisted of instruction in different tape formats with detailed descriptions of each, as well as demonstrations on the proper way to load tapes, and cue them up. Additional instruction was provided regarding the definitions of promos, PSAs, episodic, teases and commercials. There was a question and answer session afterwards. The program lasted for 4-5 hours and was mandatory for all local live producers.
